Horse walker

trainingsmolen

A horse walker is a great tool to use to train your horses frequently and safely and in a versatile way. With minimal effort, you keep your horses in an optimal condition, you advance the stamina, blood flow and the development of strong bones and muscles. While you save on personnel expenses, a horse walker fulfills your horses’ natural needs for daily exercise and social contact with other horses.

The possibilities

You can let two to eight horses exercise at the same time in the horse walker, depending on the type. The fences ensure that the horses remain separated in a safe way. These fences can be fitted with electricity. With the control box, you can regulate the time, direction and speed: walking or trotting. It is best to choose a solid surface, such as bricks, because the vibrations strengthen the sinews and muscles. If you prefer to be able to train your horses in all weather conditions, you can use a track roofing or a completely closed roofing/longe arena roofing. The latter also covers the entire midsection of the arena. This will make your horse walker a so-called combi-trainer; the longe arena and horse walker under one roof.
